Open Enrollment Capacity

Melba Joint School District No. 136 publishes grade-level capacity at least four times each school year, as required by Idaho Code § 33-1409.

Grades with space available (number of spaces in parentheses): Grade 4 (8), Grade 5 (12), Grade 7 (3), Grade 8 (5), Grade 9 (9), Grade 10 (6), Grade 11 (7), Grade 12 (6).

Grades currently full: Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 6.

How spaces are counted

Spaces available is the maximum enrollment for a grade minus the number of
students already enrolled. Where a grade is at or above its maximum
enrollment, no spaces are available. Resident students are enrolled
regardless of the figures shown here, so an enrolled count may exceed the
maximum enrollment for that grade.

Applying for open enrollment

Applications will be accepted on a form provided by the Melba Joint School District until February 1 of each year for enrollment in the subsequent year. This deadline shall be waived in the case of students who move out of their attendance zone during the school year. The District may also consider other applications submitted after February 1
