Welcome to the new school year!
Welcome back to a new school year. While many struggle with the end of summer and returning to school, it’s important to have a positive outlook and expectations. So, with that said, welcome to your best school year yet.
This is the year that you:
- Learn something new and exciting
- Improve in math, English, science, and all other subjects
- Have great times with your friends and classmates
- Try something new and learn
- Get even better at something you’ve done every year
- Help stop bullying and make others feel great
- Help create a safe place for all
- Cheer on yourself
- Cheer on others
- Make yourself proud
- Give your best every day, even in hard times
- Be a friend to someone who needs one
- Deal with tough times with strength and grace
- Ask for help when you need it
- Give help when it is needed
- Make yourself better
- Make your school better
- Make your community better
- Have fun, but not at your own or others’ expense
- Make great memories

This page provides seniors with college and scholarship information, as well as updates to help make their senior year successful.
Melba High School works closely with the College of Western Idaho (CWI) to support students earning an associate degree or completing Idaho’s General Education Matriculation (GEM) core. To learn more about what CWI offers or to build a learning plan, make an appointment with a CWI dual credit advisor.
